Topsy-Turvy Dress Protoype
The Topsy-Turvy Dress Prototype investigated how a garment can offer changable wearing experiences through a simple act of inversion. Designed to be worn in more than one orientation, the dress enables the wearer to alter its silhouette, proportions, and visual character by turning it upside down. This reversible approach challenges the idea of a fixed garment form, encouraging experimentation and personal interpretation. Constructed from deadstock cotton fabrics, the prototype was designed to test how much, or in this case how little, change is desired by wearers.
